Archives Reference National Essence

The International Council on Archives is the professional organization for the world archival community, dedicated to promoting the preservation, development, and use of the world’s archival heritage. The National Archives of Myanmar has benefited for the conferences organized by ICA where staff can share ideas and exchange expertise with other countries. NAM was a member of International Council on Archives (ICA)since 1993.

The National Archives of Myanmar is a member of the Southeast Asian Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives, 1991. At present, SARBICA comprises the National Archives Institutions of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam ,Singapore , Cambodia and Laos.
